| Basic Revolver: Safety, Familiarization, and Marksmanship | | The primary focus of the Basic Revolver Course is to teach attendees how to safely and effectively handle and fire a revolver. Students will learn firearms safety and become familiar with various types of handguns, rifles, and shotguns in an attempt to aid them in proper firearms identification and function. They will also learn about Alabama’s self-defense laws. Students will spend approximately three hours in the classroom and one hour on the range. Upon completion of the course students will receive a certificate of attendance. This is a good introductory course for anyone just getting started with a handgun.
